Emil Turner - Emil sings lead for the group. Emil has made Tuscaloosa, AL his home by way of Birmingham, AL and his hometown of Heflin, AL. He transferred to Tuscaloosa for his job with Jim Walter Resources, Inc. in 1979 and is currently an Accounting Manager. Emil is excited to be part of such an awesome group as 4given. Music has always been a part of his life with his dad serving as music director for many, many years at Pleasant Hill Baptist in Heflin. He feels music is such a vital part of the worship experience and is honored to be able to share Christ’s love and forgiveness through this Southern Gospel Music Ministry.
Ben Colburn - Ben sings tenor for the quartet 4given. Ben is from Fayette, AL, home of Golden Eagle Table Syrup. He was born and raised in a loving and Christian home. His parents, Robert (Fish) and Betty Colburn are big Southern Gospel Music fans as well as Ben's brother Rob, who used to sing in a quartet as well. Ben moved to Tuscaloosa, AL to attend the University of Alabama and decided just to stay there. He is an active member of First Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, involved in Sunday School, and also sings in the worship choir. In his spare time, Ben is an avid Crimson Tide fan and tries to be at most football games. He also likes to cook, and is always trying new dishes on his friends. He loves going to the beach when he gets a chance also. Ben is a volunteer for Camp Smile-A-Mile, which is Alabama's camp for kids with cancer and when he's not on the road with 4given, he is away on weekends during the year helping with the camps. Ben is single and still looking for someone "he can take home to mama." "I love singing with these guys! I know they love the Lord as I do and when we're together singing it is always a blessing and an experience. I am amazed at how God has blessed us and continues to do so."

Steve Lamkin - Steve is the baritone for 4given. He is originally from Brewton, AL and now resides in Northport, AL with his wife Donna and their three children Ashton, Jackson and Colby. The Lamkin's are members of First Baptist Tuscaloosa and remain active in the Sunday School and Music Ministry there. Southern Gospel Music has always been a big part of Steve's life. When he was young, his father Gene Lamkin was part of a Southern Gospel Trio that traveled all around the Brewton area. This helped put the desire to serve GOD through song in Steve's heart. Being blessed with such great Christian parents and Grandparents is something he will always treasure. Their example of how to walk with Christ through every turn in life has helped him be the father and husband he is today. His love for his family grows everyday and his wife and kids are his hobby. Steve owes everything to Jesus Christ and his desire is to bring others to the Master through the words he sings.

Larry Murphy - Larry sings bass for the quartet 4given. He grew up just outside Birmingham, Al in the suburb of Tarrant City and now calls Tuscaloosa, Al home. Growing up in the Birmingham area offered many opportunities for Larry's parents, Mr.. & Mrs. O.L. Murphy, to take him to "All Night Singings" at the Boutwell Auditorium. Larry's dad would take him to the toy store when he was a child and make him sing a "Southern Gospel" song out loud in the store before he would buy him a toy. This form of bribery seems to have worked as Larry continues to sing out loud today sharing the love of Jesus Christ through song. Larry, his wife Kim, son Kyle, and daughter Laura Kathryn are all members of First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa and stays active in many areas. A graduate of The University of Alabama, Larry enjoys following the Crimson Tide ( except when Auburn wins ). When Larry isn't traveling with 4given, you'll find him on the golf course or in the woods trying to find the ball he just hit!

Grant Frederick, the newest member of 4given, plays piano for the group. When he was three years old he began asking to take piano lessons; his parents gave in a year later. Grant, age 16, has now been studying Classical music at the Samford University Preparatory Department for twelve years. He has developed a great appreciation for Classical music, but his first love is Southern Gospel. “Although I like many different styles of music, I think Southern Gospel music is without a doubt the best in the world,” he says. Before joining 4given, Grant enjoyed a two year tenure with Sons of Grace, a quartet from his hometown. On Sundays when not in concert he currently plays piano at his church and for the weekly service at a local nursing home.
Grant also enjoys being home schooled, a Boy Scout, and “hanging out with friends.” He resides in McCalla, AL with his mom and dad, Mark and Kim, and his sister, Allison. “I really hope people enjoy my music, but I want them to realize that it’s not about me. I’m thrilled to be able to minister with this great group of guys.”
